JD Edie serves as Executive Pastor and Sherpa Guide, ministering through the leadership of the local church while helping church and ministry leaders navigate change with wisdom and courage. With decades of pastoral experience dating back to the late 1980s, JD has walked alongside congregations through seasons of growth, crisis, and transition.
JD specializes in crisis management, leadership transition, and organizational transition. He comes alongside leaders not as the expert with all the answers, but as a trusted guide who helps them unlock their God-given intuition. Whether navigating a senior pastor transition in a church in meltdown or helping ministries think clearly about their next season, JD finds joy in seeing others become the heroes of their own story.
His ministry has spanned five continents and more than 30 countries, from church planting to leadership development. One milestone he treasures is helping mobilize 750 people from his church to serve on short-term mission projects in a single year.

JD and his wife, Rhonda, have been married 31 years and have three children, one daughter-in-law, and a deep love for the outdoors — especially fly fishing and time on his Arkansas farm, often found on a tractor reflecting on God's goodness.
